Ready for the first bell.

New schools, additions and renovations on occupied campuses, planned around summer break and the safety of every student and teacher.

What owners need from us.

01

Summer is short

Much of the work happens in a ten to twelve week window. Long-lead equipment and permits have to be in hand before the last day of school.

02

Children are next door

Additions and renovations often sit beside classrooms in session. Site separation, fencing and delivery hours protect students.

03

Safety is designed in

Secure vestibules, controlled entries and clear sightlines are part of every modern school and have to be built exactly as designed.

In practice · K–8 Academy

A new school between the last bell and the first.

The K–8 academy was delivered under CM at-risk across one summer break. Long-lead equipment was bought early, crews worked extended shifts through the summer, and the school for 900 students opened on the first day of term.

Questions owners ask us.

How do you keep students safe on an occupied campus?

Work zones are fenced and separated from student routes, deliveries avoid arrival and dismissal, and every worker is badged and screened to the district’s rules.

What happens if summer work runs late?

We plan so it does not. Long-lead items are bought before school lets out, and the summer schedule is reviewed daily against the first day of term.

Can you help a district plan a bond program?

Yes. Our preconstruction team prices options early so the district can set a bond amount that matches the work.
